Early Year Signature Products
It was a nameless
floor coating, concocted by N.S. Hillyard in the early 1900’s,
which revolutionized the game of basketball indoors by providing
a slip-resistant surface on hardwood gym floors. The game,
invented in 1891 by James Naismith, exploded in popularity once
it moved indoors and Hillyard’s new company matched that
growth, expanding its signature products to include Shine-All, a
liquid cleaner and polisher, and Pine-O-Cide, a cleaning
disinfectant. These early years products set a standard of
excellence for Hillyard and propelled the company on an
innovative path to success in the sanitary maintenance industry. |
