Most deicers contain chlorides which can attack steel rebar in concrete , metal door frames or sensitive helicopter machinery. SELECT® is non-corrosive and chloride free making it an effective alternative for bridges , parking decks , helicopter pads and other corrosion sensitive areas.
SELECT® is a clear , high performance deicer effective for treating sidewalks and entry-ways to eliminate tracking and other housekeeping issues inside a facility.
SELECT® is chloride free and bio-degradable. Its use will not harm plants and vegetation when used according to label instructions nor will it contribute to water runoff concerns. SELECT® will bio-degrade 50-80 percent within five days. Complete biodegradation will occur within weeks.
