(ST. JOSEPH, MO.) – The second annual Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Basketball Classic, presented by Hillyard, Inc. is set for this Saturday at Benton High School.

Eight games are set to be played at the southend high school. It’s the first of five such basketball classics across the state.

Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for middle and high school students as well as for seniors and military veterans. Admission is free for anyone 11 and under. Tickets are available at the door and are good for the entire day.

“The purpose of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Basketball Classics is to showcase the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame’s support for high school basketball in the state of Missouri, while also matching teams against opponents from out of the area that they would not ordinarily get to play during the season,” said Byron Shive, the tournament’s executive director. “In addition, the Hall of Fame Classics will give basketball fans an opportunity to watch a full day of quality games in one location and for one low price.”
